GÜNTER RASTEN
Günter Rasten is Board Member and Practice Leader of the Health Care segment at PMCI. Six years of industrial expertise and more than 20 years of successful consulting experience made him well-accepted throughout Germany and Europe.
Education
- Studies of business administration at universities of Düsseldorf and Essen
Degree: Diplom-Kaufmann (comparable to MBA)
Professional experience
- 1978, joined 3M, was later appointed as Marketing Manager for surgical and dental products
- 1981, became Marketing Manager and European Coordinator of the Revlon Healthcare Group, New York. Successful worldwide launch of various ethical and OTC products.
- 1984, joined Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (later PMM Management Consultants GmbH), a forerunner of KPMG as Senior Manager; was appointed as Partner and Managing Director in 1989
- 1995: Management Buy-Out of PMM Management Consultants from KPMG
- 1998 Takeover of PMM by TMP Worldwide Inc., New York
- 1999, was appointed as Managing Director of TMP Worldwide’s subsidiary in Germany as well as further TMP Hudson Highland companies in Germany
- 2000, was appointed as Practice Leader – Health Care Europe
- 2004, became Member of the Board of PMC International AG
