First-hand experience counts. Understanding business and career models as well as technologies, assessing market developments and knowing requirements are the basis for reaching and approaching candidates at eye level and being able to assess their fit.
We have been at your side for more than 20 years.
"With Dr. Neese's team, we have successfully and quickly filled the positions of "Global Chief Marketing Officer" (UK location and reporting channel) and "Global Chief HR Officer" (Germany location and reporting channel), which are very important for us as part of our continued growth. The cooperation was extremely sound and professional, from the preliminary discussions to the respective conclusion, including the very good support of the candidates at all times, also at international level."
"IDL, now part of the insightsoftware group, is one of the leading software companies for financial performance management (FPM) in the areas of consolidation, planning, reporting and business intelligence. With Dr. Neese and his team, we have filled the position of Head of Software Development and - at the same time - Head of the Ahrensburg site. The collaboration was characterized by great professionalism at all times; it was a valuable "consultancy" in the best sense and not just a delivery of CVs. We were able to fill this key position in our company quickly and on a long-term basis with the right person."
"In connection with filling a CIO position, Dr. Neese and his team supported me. The cooperation was characterized by great professionalism and commitment, so that we were able to fill this business-critical position with the right person in a timely manner. The added value of a serious, efficient HR consultancy was clearly demonstrated in this project."

The reality in the search for the best minds is that …
Excerpt from the
brochure
of the Federal Association of Personnel Managers (BPM):
“The high market volume of over two billion euros per year shows this: In Germany, numerous companies, regardless of sector and size, decide to mandate personnel consultancies. Why is that? The following arguments speak in favor of this:
In addition to the technical part, which is quite transparent, the “match” between the candidate’s personality and the company’s culture is particularly important. A good fit is almost the only guarantee for successful, productive and long-term cooperation. The quality of the entire process is important here.
The first step is to make the effort to carry out a real situation analysis and talk in detail with peers in the company. This generates a requirements profile against which the candidates are ‘mirrored’: by the consultant, who knows the client well; by the results of the personality diagnostics and by direct discussions with the client. The consultant accompanies all steps. This results in a very good and reliable overall picture. However, the key magic word is always “time”, which you have to – and should – invest.
Of course you can. The impact on and accessibility of candidates is unfortunately limited. Good candidates are very reluctant to be approached directly by the competition. The risk of serving as an “informant” or being considered a “potential renegade” is too great. There is usually a lack of trust between potential candidates and companies in order to develop a truly genuine dialog about a possible change. This is different for actively seeking candidates. However, the top performers who are not actively looking are usually the most interesting.
We have been working for many years with the aptitude diagnostic tool from PICompany, which uses the Reflector Big Five personality test as the basis for its tool. This personality test, which is highly recognized in the scientific community, was supplemented by a job-related skills profile. This gives our clients the opportunity to think about the key skills that are important for the advertised position during the briefing with us. The added value you receive is unbeatable. The test results allow a much deeper and more intensive discussion with the candidates. A real added value for every vacancy.
For a long time now, there have been two camps of recruitment consultants: the vast majority offer their clients the concept of only having to pay a fee if a position is actually filled (purely performance-related, “contingency model”); a minority, to which we as PMCI belong, work according to the “one-third rule”, in which the fee is distributed over the duration of the project (“retainer model”).
We are firmly convinced that companies in particular are at a massive disadvantage as customers due to the contingency model, despite the fact that it is so advantageous at first glance. Why do we see it that way?
Because we work according to the retainer model, we tell both sides openly if we have doubts about the candidate’s suitability, if only out of self-protection to avoid guarantee cases. But also, of course, to protect the customer’s reputation, including that of its own employees, and not to jeopardize the usually long-standing cooperation.
We are convinced that the retainer model is the only one that offers serious personnelconsulting (and not simply “placement”) and treats both candidates and client companies with the respect they deserve.
In the rarest of cases, we fill a position for our clients with “database candidates”:
For these reasons, among others, we start almost every search from scratch, i.e. by identifying suitable target companies and candidates from a variety of sources. Of course, there are always lucky hits, but these are the exception rather than the rule.

Growing up in rural East Westphalia, I developed a deep connection to nature at an early age, which has had a lasting impact on my personal and professional life.
My path began with a scientific degree in geography with a focus on ecology. I then worked in environmental services on the topics of recycling management, waste disposal and remediation.
My enthusiasm for working with people eventually led me into HR services and consulting. For more than 20 years, my focus has been on connecting the right talents with the right positions (nationally and internationally) – always with a special feel for the individual needs of companies and candidates.
Today I live in Cologne and support people in realizing their professional goals and companies in attracting the best talent for their teams. In addition to my extensive professional experience, my training as a systemic coach (IHK) enables me to provide my clients with holistic support in professional orientation, personal development and change processes.
In addition to my work as a personnel consultant, I have been a freelance trainer and career coach for a renowned academy in the field of life science management for over ten years. With empathy, precision and commitment, I am a “passionate service provider”.
My focus is on companies that make a positive contribution to society and the environment over and above their economic goals. I am particularly passionate about organizations that want to make the world a better place through innovation, sustainability and social responsibility.

I am an HR generalist with more than 25 years of experience. I came to personnel management by chance: After completing my doctorate in philosophy at the University of Constance in 1997, I initially worked in adult education and was offered a lectureship in personnel and organizational development at the Private University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen and Zurich.
After a stint at CSC Ploenzke AG in Wiesbaden in 2000, I joined Commerzbank AG in Frankfurt am Main in 2005, where I got to know HR work in a corporate group. As part of the merger of Commerzbank and Dresdner Bank, I was responsible for the HR integration of around 3,500 people from the two IT organizations.
Family events have brought my wife and me back to our shared home, the northwest of Germany. From 2010, I was responsible for personnel controlling as well as personnel and organizational development at Bremer Landesbank. In 2014, I returned to the Rhine-Main region, my adopted hometown of Wiesbaden, and have lived there ever since.
From 2014, I worked as a senior manager at zeb.rolfes.schierenbeck.associates for eight years, advising numerous banks on all HR-related issues, and from 2021 I worked at DZ PRIVATBANK as a manager in the HR department. I have been a Senior Partner at PMCI since 2023 and am responsible for the Finance & Banking client area.
During my career to date, I have written numerous articles and books on human resources topics “on the side”. I also enjoy being active in research and teaching to this day.
In my private life, the interests I developed during my studies have never left me, so that today I am still interested in the history, literature and philosophy of the 18th to 20th centuries. Music plays a major role here. Unfortunately only passively, but that also means that I am still pursuing my long-standing hobby of high-quality reproduction of music (“high end”).

As a true “Nordlicht”, born and raised in Cuxhaven, I have now been in the Rhineland for more than 20 years. The well-known open and communicative nature of the Rhinelanders suits me very well, which is why I have felt very much at home here for a long time.
I have been in the recruiting business for more than 24 years. In 1999, when I joined the HR department at OBI in Wermelskirchen, I lost my heart to the subject. It was an obvious step to go into consulting at some point. As a personnel consultant, I can combine two of my strengths and passions. For one thing, I am a very curious person. Getting to know new customers, new industries, new functional areas; understanding what challenges there are in this particular environment spurs me on – makes me happy. On the other hand, I see a real opportunity to create prospects for people. Every candidate is important to me. The decision to take on a new challenge must be carefully considered. That’s why I see myself as a consultant for the candidates as well as for my clients.
The passion to do something for people is also reflected in my private activities. As a member of the Lions Club Langenfeld, as a member of the board of the Düsseldorf regional group of the Association of Executives and as chairman of the state commission for labor market and education policy of the NRW Economic Council, I am actively involved in supporting society and the community.
I studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, specializing in design engineering, and later – yes, 30 years ago – I did my doctorate on the subject of artificial intelligence. Incidentally, this translation was even more incorrect back then than it is today…
After a total of 11 years as a software developer, project manager and executive at FAG Kugelfischer and IBM, I moved to the consulting division of KPMG in Frankfurt in 1998, where I worked with my team as an IT management consultant, most recently as a partner and managing director. The topics of leadership and change management have always fascinated and challenged me, at least since the IT outsourcing from FAG to IBM.
Having worked in personnel consulting since 2006, my core areas of IT, consulting and medium-sized industry have never really let go of me. In addition to the classic executive search, I have supported many individual candidates in their repositioning through career coaching in recent years. This dual perspective often helps me and “my” candidates in executive search projects.
In my private life, I have a diverse “migration background” within Germany: I was born in Bielefeld, graduated from high school in Schweinfurt, then via professional stations in Schweinfurt and Munich finally ended up with my family near Frankfurt am Main.
I completely reversed my decades-long aversion to golf in 2010 and even gave up playing tennis. Furthermore, during my time as a part-time retailer of Italian wines from 1991 to 2018, I adapted a much-quoted saying: “Life is too short for trivial wines.”
I am an Austrian citizen, trained as an engineer in Vienna and have a degree in economics. After this training, I worked in the international supplier and packaging industry. In 1996, I moved to Hanover with my family. Professionally, I have been most influenced by the experience I have gained in sole responsibility for companies or business units since 1998. I find this experience – including the moderation of change processes – particularly valuable in consulting. They sharpen my focus on requirements and help me to talk to everyone involved on an equal footing. I have been a personnel consultant since 2016 and mainly support companies in the technical manufacturing industry.
I still live with my wife until today near Hanover; our three adult children in Lower Saxony. Sport, especially cycling, is one of my passions.
When asked why I went into consulting, I like to answer that it’s nice to bring people together in the right way – to move people.
